O-H-I-O Share your pride

"Rome Colosseum June 2012"

My husband AJ and I spent our 1st anniversary in Europe. Among the many wonderful sites we took many pictures, but this one took the cake! AJ asked a nice couple if they would mind finishing the O-H-I-O and they offered, but with a bit of hesitation. Turns out that the man actually played for the team "over there" in the 80's, but still took the picture! Who would have known that our 1 OSU picture would include our rival and most fitting, at The Colosseum of all places! Let the games begin!

It started out as a simple football cheer. But today, "O-H-I-O" means the whole package: strong athletic traditions, major school spirit, academic achievements, and outreach efforts.

Gameday O-H-I-O

Fans, band members, and even Brutus showed their Buckeye pride outside the Shoe before the Ohio State v. Minnesota game (Oct. 24, 2009).
