After climbing to the top of Lion Rock in Sri Lanka, we (Gavin Fox, Garth Fox, and Georgana Fox, three OSU Alumni) found stones forming the word "HI" and we decided to add two "O's" at either end to create the beloved "O-H-I-O".

Captain Bruce Urbon, USN ('85, AAE) shows his Buckeye Pride during a visit to the South Pole in January. As the Commanding Officer of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT), CAPT Urbon leads more than 3,100 federal civil service and military employees. SSC LANT, headquartered in Charleson, SC, is a leading edge Navy engineering center that designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the frontline Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems in use today by Naval and Joint Forces. SSC LANT provides air traffic control and weather forecast support for the United States Antarctic Program (USAP).
