"Three Generations of Buckeyes in Tuscany Italy"

The picture was taken this June 2013, in the Tuscany region of Italy, at the renewal of our vows to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, along with 21 of our closest friends and family. Left to right is our son, Zachary Whittington, OSU incoming freshman for class of 2017, headed to Fisher Honors program. Next is my husband, Steven Whittington, the "groom", a 1993 graduate of OSU in engineering (CIS). Next is me, the "bride", Melinda (Beuth) Whittington, a 1989 graduate OSU in business (accounting). And finally, my dad, William Beuth Sr, a 1966 OSU grad (civil engineering). We all currently reside in various parts of Ohio.

It started out as a simple football cheer. But today, "O-H-I-O" means the whole package: strong athletic traditions, major school spirit, academic achievements, and outreach efforts.

Gameday O-H-I-O

Fans, band members, and even Brutus showed their Buckeye pride outside the Shoe before the Ohio State v. Minnesota game (Oct. 24, 2009).
