Little Boy Found
Values: Excellence, Accountability, Empathy and Compassion

I would like to recognize and thank Stefani Martin. Stefani was walking back to her work area through Rhodes Hall Lobby when she noticed a crying little boy standing by the Rhodes Hall elevators. His name was Maddox. Stefani brought him to the Rhodes Hall Information desk and told me he said he could not find his mom. I called security to let them know we have a lost little boy. I sat him behind the desk to calm him down. Security arrived and took a report. Stefani stayed with him as long as she could. Just after she stepped away, his mom showed up at the Rhodes Hall Desk. She was more frantic and nervous than Maddox. I calmed her down and assured her that he was ok, and told her that he gave us a very good description of her – he said that what she was wearing was "pretty," and she has hair like his.
I also want to thank Megan Baranec for taking the time to look for Maddox's mom. Right before this incident occurred, Megan saw Maddox and his mom at Wendy's, so she was able to identify her if she ran into her.
Stefani and Megan, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to truly make a difference. This time it really mattered.
